I think they are heavily testing that population. More tests mean more cases. Anecdotally, that population doesn’t seem to be down with social distancing and has a very high obesity rate, but I think it’s due to the increased testing.
I’d be much more worried about the TB they’re probably carrying along with a host of other diseases more than I’d worry about covid they’re bringing over here.

Houston had a 60,000 person lovefest for king Floyd. The mayor was all in on that. Also is is a major drug distribution center for product coming from Mexico and south. And it is a major sex trafficking hub.

And these people lock down honest businesses to slow the spread and the mayor publicly shames businesses who try to open up.
