Michigan State Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed by police Tuesday morning in Eaton County, near Lansing, Mich.
Authorities say the shooting happened after the man stabbed another man who had challenged him about not wearing a mask at a store, and then tried to attack police when he was pulled over.
The shooting happened in a neighborhood in Delta Township about 30 minutes after the stabbing outside a Quality Dairy store, state police Lt. Brian Oleksyk said.

Apparently they understand that it is being used incorrectly.
BTW Whitless has no authority to make masks "mandatory" as her time ran out months ago. Even if she did under FEDERAL law she can not make masks mandatory.
But you just keep on kowtowing.
What don’t people understand about minding their OWN BUSINESS.
Get in someones face - no matter how right you THINK you are, you may have to pay a ‘price’.
Just because you are required to stop for a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk doesn’t give you the right to run over a jaywalker.
No just another victim of the Covet 19. Since the issue was started over a mask to prevent Covet 19 this will be classified as yet another 'Covet related' death.
If George Floyd had been wearing a mask, he wouldn’t have caught Covid and would be alive today.
Peaceful stop by the police.
Except for those few shots

The deputy gives a little impromptu clinic on how to clear a jam.
She comes off target, smacks the bottom of the magazines, then works the slide to clear the round, then resumes fire.

Mandatory comes from manus the Latin for hand. It has nothing to do with 'man', which is of Germanic origin. Similarly, 'mandate' has nothing to do with a pre-arranged meeting with a man.
Manager is another word derived from manus. I once attended a work meeting, where a woman objected to calling managers 'manager' -- she wanted something that wasn't 'sexist'. I enjoyed setting her straight on the etymology.
Watch the bodycam video. Post 32.
The old fat female cop did a heckuva job.
Her mistake was that she allowed the guy to get close to her before opening fire. It was a near thing. He almost got her.
Are you saying that a private business can insist that customers wear a mask, or shop elsewhere?
