Former Gov. Greitens helps victims of deadly shooting near St. Louis University

Two men are dead after a double shooting near Saint Louis University Monday night.

Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to North Grand Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard around 8:15 p.m. Saint Louis University Public Safety was also on the scene.

Former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens and his friend, a former St. Louis fire captain, rendered aid to the two victims, ages 20 and 21, police sources first told KSDK's Christine Byers.

Police said the 20-year-old died at the scene and the 21-year-old died later in the night.

Greitens, who is a former Navy Seal, and former fire captain Gregg Favre were having dinner at Vito's Pizzeria in Midtown when they heard what sounded like automatic gunfire, Greitens told KSDK.

“I just came out to have a little bite of pizza with a friend and we’re sitting here and then we heard about 15 to 25 shots right here at Lindell and Grand. When we did, we grabbed our weapons and medical kits,” Greitens said in an interview with KSDK’s Jenna Barnes.

Greitens said they carry the kits, which were in their cars, as a result of their military training.

They rendered aid on the victims before paramedics arrived, a source told KSDK's Christine Byers.

Favre is the Executive Director of the St. Louis Area Regional Response. He and Greitens serve in the Navy together, he said.

“I’m a Navy Seal, I served in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. I think what’s so upsetting about tonight, is this is what you expect in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, you expect to hear semi-automatic and automatic gunfire and here we are in the City of St. Louis at Lindell and Grand and you’ve got two more shot bodies,” Greitens said.

IF we had a Justice Department, they’d go after who is funding these terrorist organizations. Alas, we don’t.

I just saw Former Gov Grietens, on Tucker, last night.

I guess this happened just afterwards.

He mentioned how, as Gov, he put together a team that dealt with the riots.

I’m concerned about the R party in MO.

Anyone concerned, write Jean Evans, who abandoned her MO District 99 slot to the leftist Trish Gunby.

I also want Josh Hawley to publicly apologize to Greitens.

Gardner was highlighted on Tucker last night. Looks very unimpressive, which begs how she could be elected, Soros money or not.

We can only hope she’s smarter than she looks.

Charges of infidelity were made against Grietans as I recall, but weren’t they proven to be false, after he resigned. ?

If there was true justice in the world a cruise missile would hit Soros right on the bridge of his filthy Maoist nose.

He did end up with a divorce after running as a family guy.
The scandal was about (retracted) claims that he tied his girlfriend up. There was a claim of photos, but they never materialized. He denied it.

And he was accused of using a list, for campaigning, from a foundation he had been involved with.

He was exonerated of all serious accusations all around.

Josh Hawley sort of threw in with the low-IQ communist mulatto STL prosecutor.

Same communist prosecutor is indicting the couple that defended their home against a mob a couple of weeks ago. She took their guns illegally a couple of days ago.

I can’t understand why the Trump administration has not revoked Soros’s US citizenship, which would make all his contributions “interference by foreigners” (which is what it is).

I’m not in MO and have no idea what Josh Hawley said/did to Greitens.

Can you fill us/me in?

I seem to think he has done something of this sort before.
Or maybe it was when he waded right into the Ferguson riots.

Exactly. If anyone had the will, they could have stopped or decreased his influence long ago. It really accelerated during the Obama dynasty, I believe,

Unlike in 2014 with the feckless (D) Jay Nixon, Greitens took action when Ferguson riots were revving up in 2017. He also signed permitless carry and activated our State Defense Force (civilian militia, spelled out in our state constitution and that of many other states).

Then when Greitens was forced out, we got Gov. Parson, who promptly deactivated our SDF.

And the new R party chairman who couldn’t hold the MO district she abandoned.

So, we might be in trouble.

Such is life in a border state.

Aren’t we all sitting done for lunch ( or for folks in other time Zs, going about your daily business) with at least a carry pistol and a spare mag, along with a cell phone and a combat bandage and fighting knife? Uh, aren’t we?

NO???

Better correct that deficiency, Patriot. NOW!

The gun is on me, everything else is in the truck, including a tourniquet, which you left out.
