Wanting the nation to begin questioning the effectiveness of masks at stopping the spread of coronavirus, Trump put on a mask during a visit to a medical center, causing the media to investigate whether or not masks really work. Liberals everywhere were seen burning their masks and running around licking doorknobs to own Trump.
“Yes, masks seem to be effective at first blush, but do they really work?” said a CNN anchor. “The bad orange man is wearing a mask, so we have to wonder: do they really stop the coronavirus? What is it that he is hiding behind that sinister disguise?”
The media finally changed its tune from “Wear the d*mn mask” to “Well, let’s look at the pros and cons of mask wearing,” with the 4D chess expert President Trump having forced them to do their job of investigative reporting rather than parroting left-wing and government talking points.
“I was getting really annoyed with all the ‘wear the mask’ talk, so I decided to put one on so they’d come out against them,” Trump said at a press conference. “I played the media like a fiddle. Well, I’ve never played a fiddle, but I was always told I had beautiful hands that would be perfect for the fiddle. I bet I’d be tremendous at the fiddle.”
Just to have fun, Trump took off the mask in the middle of the press conference and then put it back on several times, causing the media to change their opinion on mask wearing over 17 times in three minutes.

Look I get it. The facemask is a replacement for Democrat/Fascist style arm bands.
Here in California, many sheriffs have told Newsom they will not police mask/ social distance/ etc. policies. I hear that he has now assembled ‘mask citation tattlers’ that go into restaurants and issue citations for ‘in-house dining’ and so forth. Can’t wait to see them on the beaches. The one I saw, the restaurant owner got a citation and has to appear in court. It’s a misdemeanor, folks, that’s all they can do. They sic’d ATF (?) on one restaurant that ‘dared’ to open before ‘they’ said they could, and threatened to pull their liquor license. He’s a mean one, Governor Newsom.
A church friend works for LA Public Health here in Los Angeles - just a clerical job I am sure. She called one Friday in early April, sobbing so hard she could barely speak: “We try to tell them, ‘wear a mask,’ but they will not comply.” She was wailing.
I tried not to laugh, then mentioned - “You know how hard it is to make anyone DO anything, right? Even in your own family. Just let it go.” I am sure she is the one who tattles to the Archbishop that there are some people in our church who take their masks off after they enter. (Priest said ‘we will not police you.’)
I cannot imagine how much more upset she is now - there are fewer compliers here in LA than ever.

While I do wear a mask, agree with public health and the Trump administration that a person should wear a mask in certain situations and disagree with many on this board who think it’s dangerous to wear a mask, I still don’t tell people they must wear a mask as governors have done.
Well, now he’s being his old self again. Coming out and saying there WILL be a 5 day school week, but not doing an executive order.
Now, Greenville or Columbia can just sue, get a judge to throw it out, and bingo, McMaster looks tough, but confound it, those dastardly coaats just ovahtound his orduh!! Nothin’ he can do!
