Gotta think about the cost of changing the R on the logo. So it makes sense to change the name to something that starts with an R and which expresses a politically correct idea or association. Therefore, I suggest:
Washington Rectums
I think Red Tails (as in red tailed hawk) is the leader for that reason.
Allows them to keep the current logo with the feathers, they just need to replace the face (with a hawk or big R like they used to have).
