Well they certainly did when they applied for the Daca Program..DACA was a renewable 2-year period of deferred action ‘from deportation’ and was never intended as a path to citizenship for recipients nor permanent lawful status...So they had to apply for DACA, pay a $495 application fee, submit forms, and produce documents showing they meet the requirements. So they're certainly not illiterate.

The claim was they knew when they came (or were brought here).

GET RID OF DACA! The entire American public should not have to foot the bill for these illegal criminal invaders to have a free ride, just so those big businesses can have cheap employees. Those business “leaders” are nothing but self-serving b___s.
