What is going on in the Hospitals? Are Deaths spiking? Are hospitals being overrun?

IF all 330,000,000 Americans are tested, OF COURSE, there will be MILLIONS of New Cases. Isn’t that obvious? 99.6% of them all, or more, will survive.

Texas hit a high water mark of 63 COVID-19 deaths on May 21. Previous to that, it was 59 on April 29th.

On July 7th, they hit 85. On July 8th, 121. Yesterday was 102.

We are 14 days out from the change in slope, and deaths are starting up.

The sickest COVID patient I have personally seen, ever, got admitted two nights ago (just arrived from Florida).

Yes. Deaths are starting to spike. The people dying now were the people who got sick in late May when we had 1200-1400 cases a day. Now we have 11,000 cases a day. Back then there were 7 deaths a day. Now? Over 100-110. What do you think it will be in 4 weeks when 11,000 cases a day start to die (at the same rate 1200-1400 did)? We will be NYC. Our hospitals in the Houston area are full. That’s not the “media” that’s my brother in law who is an ICU nurse in the medical center, a good friend of mine from high school who is a surgeon there and several other friends who are doctors and nurses there (one an anesthesiologist, another a respiratory nurse, others are friends friends).

All of our county (Brazoria) ICU beds are full. We’ve been moving people out since April. That’s the data and some personal insight.
