Being an asymptomatic carrier is not a new phenomenon. Look it up yourself.
Asymptomatic carriers play a critical role in the transmission of common infectious diseases such as typhoid, C. difficile, influenzas, cholera, COVID-19,[2] tuberculosis, and HIV.
