Democratic world needs a global military alliance against China

If we look at China today, it has an uncanny resemblance with the pre-World War 2 Germany of Hitler from a perspective that is rarely considered while analysing the cause of this maddest of all wars that humanity ever saw.

What makes the World War 2 really interesting is that it actually came from a trajectory of The Great Depression of 1929.

As the west was reeling under a financial crisis in a post-World War 1 world, each nation was facing the typical problem of unemployment and sinking income of people.

When Nazis came to power in 1930s Germany was in the middle of the great depression.

The economic slump that had started in 1929 reached its nadir in 1932. With the unemployment rates reaching almost 30 % German masses were desperately hoping for a change, and that is what Nazis used as an opportunity to arm a nation aimed at occupying what they called Lebensraum (“living space”).

Nazis transformed the economy by first focusing on military spending and then on building infrastructure. This created huge national debt but transformed the economy by solving the unemployment issue and lifted per capita income considerably.

While Nazi rule may look like a black period for the outside world, the masses of Germany saw growth and prosperity. The public support to Nazi terror that now looks absurd was nothing but the euphoric high from the opium of prosperity that can send morals of masses to deep sleep.

If we return to China, we can see the same history being repeated.

The people of China are high on the prosperity that Chinese economic growth driven on the same trajectory as Nazi Germany and the process is now leading China on the same Lebensraum path of pushing its boundaries.

The persecution of minorities like Uyghur Muslims is a natural extension of the same phenomenon that the world saw with Jews and Polish people in the case of Germany.

Now, if we now look at the reason why Germany started the devastating war, it was actually an economic requirement of serving the massive debts.

Nazis presumed that the debts can be taken care of by occupying other nations and taking away their wealth (and manpower).

If we look at the monolith of China today, it too is in an uneasy economic state. Though it has a massive GDP currently, it can take no time for the GDP to deflate catastrophically if the world markets will stop importing what China manufactures, and if that happens, it will not only see an economic collapse but also a social and even national collapse.

So, just as Hitler (who sold the idea of nationalism to people by first creating a false prosperity using debt and unhealthy increase in economic activities via defence and infrastructure spending) was left with no choice but to wage wars, China is slowly but surely reaching a point where a war will be the only option it will have for its economic survival.

When World War 2 happened, the world was not aware of this dynamics and hence was not duly prepared for such an eventuality. This allowed Hitler to make considerable gains initially that resulted in the death of millions.

If the modern world learns from its past mistakes, the biggest mistake is of not having a global ideological alignment of military power. While World War 2 ultimately ended up with such a military alignment, it took some time and a lot of human toll. So, if the world wants to avoid that mistake and be better prepared for fighting, or rather preventing the World War 3, there is a need for not just ideological alignment but a military alignment on a common ground at this very point before a war is upon us.

As the world is now looking at an autocracy far larger than German Nazi state in form of China, the real need of the hour is to form a global military alliance comprising of all the democratic nations of the world.

If the democracies of the world fail to unite under a common agenda, there will be a global turmoil with a tragic outcome.

Just as the Western nations came together to form NATO to deter the autocratic Russia from forcing a war upon the world, the time has come to do the same with China, and if the democratic world will be able to put together a credible military organisation, the end result could be same for China too, as it is just as forcefully put together a nation as the erstwhile USSR was.

China is now a global threat not just because it has amassed a lot of military might but more so because it is an unstable idea that can explode and drag the world into a war that we can no longer afford as a species.

Let us realise that there was no artificial intelligence or biotech or ICBMs when World War 2 was fought. Today the world has enough firepower to take the entire humanity not to the Stone Age as it was optimistically predicted. A China spiralling out of control can actually end with the extinction of the human race if the world is not prepared to control it.

What about their allies...

The democrat party and congressional democrats? Democrats created the current danger that is China at the moment. Surely, something has to be done about them, if the world is going to have any success against China.

I don’t see it just imagine how much business they would lose if they started a war.

Never mind Democrats; Western demand for cheap goods created the Red China we see today - and they know it. Part of their quest for regional domination stems from the fact that much of that manufacturing is leaving Red China for cheaper neighbors.

Sure, there’s an economic motivation. But the real problem was that Hitler was a megalomaniac, with grudges about the last war and insane, mystical racial superiority theories. He was consumed by the idea of glory through conquest.

The author's point is the war would start after businesses have pulled out of China. The pulling out is underway right now.

Red China is in dire straights as of now.

A very dangerous time. They could start a war to take their populations mind off their problems at home.

If they strike first, they might have success at first which could greatly stimulate their populations excitement.

The question is..will we react initially?

The second question is, will the use of nuclear devices be a result? That will depend on the Reds view of the lives of their populations.

In whole, IMO, it will be a general killing.

The last question is..what will happen within the USA? I believe the POTUS will have to intern all anti-Americans to succeed. Which will mean every single democrat politician as well as any of those-like ANTFA and BLM.

China is on the clock, if they anticipate conflict with their neighbors, because of their one child policy.

Today, China has 98 million 20-29 year old men compared to India's 127 million. In 2030, China will have 89 million compared to India's 131 million. Young adults are important for both war and factory work. Not only will China's young adults want a middle class lifestyle for themselves, but they need to be in the workforce (not fighting wars) if older Chinese are going to maintain the lifestyles to which they are becoming accustomed.

Bringing India into alliance with the Anglosphere + Japan is the most important foreign policy goal for the US. India is a rising superpower. It is also a stable democracy. With them on board along with Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam, China would think twice about plans for aggression.
