Fans do the chop, not the team. Consider that it is the Florida State fans that chop, not the football team. That is where it started, not in Atlanta.

Former FSU star Deion Sanders brought the chop to Atlanta in 1991 when the Braves signed him off waivers from the Yankees. Deion used to yell "Do the Wo Wo!" and chop to encourage the crowd. The tomahawk chop lead that the Braves' PA system plays during games is a recording of the FSU band, "The Marching Chiefs." You probably know all of this, but most people don't.

Yeah, I remember when Prime came to Hotlanta to play. He was a good CF for them and hit well, super speed and base stealing.
