I was going to say the same thing. The PC left’s kryptonite might be to force them to define the terms they so blithely toss about. White males should stand up and insist that they are “women of color”, and then force the diversity pushers to prove otherwise. When they begin to sputter about how “obviously” you are not a POC (isn’t that Pirates of the Caribbean?...never mind), nor are you a woman, simply challenge them to specify what physical traits make one either a POC or a woman.
They will be so reluctant to go anywhere near describing any common traits that make one black, for example, for fear of stereotyping, that their little pea brains will simply lock up. And as for male vs. female, they have so corrupted that simple and obvious distinction that they will be similarly unable and unwilling to spell out the physical characteristics that make one female, for fear of running afoul of “transgender” orthodoxy.
I’m not being facetious here, I’m quite serious. If a number of white males step up and do this, it could paralyze this “diversity” push, at least on a local scale, and if ignored by those in power could set the stage for some fascinating court challenges. The courts have dealt with anti-discrimination statutes many times, of course, but I don’t think they’ve been confronted yet with clearly defining what characteristics make someone a member of a protected class, given the new “woke” blurring of lines based upon “self-identification.”
