Injun givers
How about the Washington Neolithic Hunter-Gatherers?
Whining on about the name of a football team, a mascot, a school name, whatever imaginary grievance you want distracts the “victim” group from thinking about the miserable job being done to solve their actual problems. BLM, Democrats, etc. use the same method: create an imaginary grievance that solves nothing and push on it with everything you’ve got.

Marshall said he wanted to keep the Indian theme of the name as an honor to the Native Americans and, especially, to Dietz.

Please remind me... Who won the Indian Wars?
Aha. They see their chance in this current turbulent climate and move in.
Just play by their rules, delegate the name to the reservation dust bin, repeat for all “indian” references, then put up an eternal plaque that names all 15 of the aggrieved, crediting them for the banishing of all such references in sports culture. Sports is dying, anyway.
Like to see how many ACTUAL PEOPLE are represented by that 15 number.
Like, maybe, FIFTEEN?
