The current insurrection is clearly Marxist in origin. It is blatant, transparent, and obvious that is is Marxist.
Marxist.
So why on earth do so many people call it fascist.
As in “Antifa are the real fascists” and similar sentiments.
Sure, fascism is evil and totalitarian, and its adherents were not nearly as good at PR as communists are. Marxism and fascism are distinct ideologies. They are incompatible because each seeks to impose its own totalitarian vision.
The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their true name. The current insurrection is rooted in Marxism, not fascism.
We need to educate people to understand that Marxism is every bit as evil as the worst of fascism.
You’re right: we have a lot of work to do.
“So why on earth do so many people call it fascist.
As in Antifa are the real fascists and similar sentiments.”
Because people in today’s America take being called a hypocrite as a much more serious insult than being called a Marxist.
We have to agree violent mob takeover is wrong no matter what term we agree upon.
The “Antifa” thugs pat themselves on the back for being anti-fascist but are exactly like Hitler Youth. But working for Marxists.
I’m more interested in protecting our free system and our good people from the barbarians than agreeing on the label.
