Regarding high school history. Many times the history books were devoid of factual information. The Barbary Pirate nations were never associated with Islam. They never told us about the Astecs and the human sacrifice death religion. The Japanese and the Korean women who were forced to be sex workers. The Carib Indians and the eating of newly born babies. The history books were just about sanitized into uselessness. I guess they did not want to offend the kids with the real truth about the Human Race.
But they have no hesitation to put how “racist”, “sexist”, “xenophobic”, “homophobic”, “transphobic”, “islamophobic”, “capitalist” (as a pejorative), and all other garbage about our country is hopelessly evil and inferior to all others.
