The Crimea was part of Russia from 1783 until 1954, and even then it was still under Soviet control. Why is this our problem? The leadership of the Crimea is completely corrupt. Let them fight their own battles.
Pelosi doesn’t give a rat’s butt about Crimea anyway. I doubt she can find it on a map, even if she is sober, which is rare.

Pelosi has a point. I agree with her.
Republicans are 'responsible', because they did not win the 2008 election, and allowed the Obama/Biden team to win, thereby setting the stage for Putin's aggression and the takeover of the Crimean peninsula.
FACT is that, if there had been a republican in the White House, that Russia would not have dared to invade Crimea.
I'm pretty sure that, that's what Pelosi meant by blaming republicans.
