Sounds like a fabulous weekend. And sounds like folks there were like here ..... going wild with fireworks. It’s always a rowdy night here but this year was insane. And awesome. LOL
It’s a shame she’s moving away. Guess you’ll just have to fly down to TX every so often to visit.

Well, you answered my question while I was typing it. LOL Sorry to hear the cooler temps aren’t sticking around.
No cooler temps for us and the humidity isn’t dropping this week. No rain today though it looked like it would at any time. Not a fun trip to the store this afternoon. UGH!

I’ve been ready for fall since the first 100 day in May. LOL!

It’s mighty uncomfortable, that’s for sure. Can’t cool off when sweat can’t evaporate.

Well, gosh, I’ve probably been through there and never thought about the name. It’s nice in that area. You’ll have to come down to see her, right?

That’s for sure. Thank goodness for refrigerated air! Pulls some of that humidity out. Ours would be dripping on the patio in GA. And we had to clean the filter all the time to keep it from getting moldy.

You betcha! Life is pretty miserable without A/C. Been there, done that, and had a few close calls with heat exhaustion ..... in my apartments. With fans.
They do help dry the air a little too.
But I’ll deal with muggy in order to be surrounded by green any day. LOL! I’d have a very tough time living in the desert.
