Hospitals in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties are gearing up for another wave of COVID-19 patients and some are already putting surge plans into place to extend bed capacity.
....While most hospitals are not at capacity, places like Jackson Memorial Hospital, are slowing down elective procedures to focus on urgent surgeries.....
A woman told Local 10 that she learned about that first hand when she called Memorial Hospital Pembroke on Sunday morning about getting her husband to the hospital. The 65-year-old man has a pre-existing heart condition and he was experiencing shortness of breath and had a fever.
They refused to admit him, she said....

The Miami Beach mayor is among the worst.
I hope Buffet gets it. He and Gates and Soros.
Complete lie...there are not hospitalizations increasing.
That's their job. Spread more FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) among the population.
So the sauce is this story is a woman who called the hospital. Wow. I would hate to see what journalistic prowess was exhibited in the second story of the day.
Fake News.
They refused to admit him, she said....
Did he live?
Enemy Of The People Media spreading
fear propaganda lies.
One anecdotal story does not override the fact that in Florida the number of new hospitalizations by covid patients has average less than 300 in the past three days.
>gearing up for another wave of COVID-19 patients
When was the first wave? Hospitals all over America suffered big losses and had to lay off medical staff because it never arrived.
Hospitalizations might be increasing. It looks like Fedzilla is covering observation status for WuFlu patient admissions. Observation usually isn’t covered by insurance. I could see hospitals admitting younger and healthier patients for observation to make a quick buck.
This could be very easily answered if someone just asks a hospital for its WuFlu observation status numbers. And other numbers: admissions for/while Covid. ICU for/with Covid.
Genuine question — where do you see the hospitalization numbers — I have been trying to figure it our on the FL DOH website
So, is the goal to have zero patients in hospitals? That’s not how they make money... But I wouldn’t expect Dems to grasp that complex concept.
FL does not make it easy. I started copying the page 3 FL data each day to an excel spreadsheet on July 2.
I then can compute the change in the number of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths by age group from one day to the next.

Coronavirus: characteristics of 197,076 Florida resident cases Data through Jul 4, 2020 verified as of Jul 5, 2020 at 09:25 AM Data in this report are provisional and subject to change
244 deaths in the entire country yesterday claimed to be Covid.
People are going in for treatment delayed by covid. Actual covid increases in the hospital are a fabrication.
I guess Miami should close everything for 1 month.
Lions and tigers and bears OH MY !!!
