Here’s a Video that might be of interest. I know that Baker’s Creek Seeds was impacted by the pandemic.
For a while their website was totally shut down-you could not order seeds. When back up, they have restaurants etc. and other stuff that is still shut down. And they have a message that filling orders may take longer.
I always order some seeds at the end of the season-they will be good next spring and sometimes prices are reduced. We also ordered our new seeds early this year, so we got our delivery before the shut down.
Keep all this in mind for next year.
Ice Age Farmer Video:

Aldi Sud SHAMES customers for buying meat. MILLIONS of pounds of seed potatoes are DISCARDED in a giant hole. One could not shut down food production more rapidly than is NOW taking place — we must all grow food immediately for our families and communities. Spread the word.

I ordered my seeds early this year as I learned some time ago that if I waited, I was not likely to get what I wanted, it would usually be sold out.
We have recently moved to NH and are very quickly finding new, local sources for food.
I also have a decent sized garden that does need more work than I can put into it now, but I have new asparagus plants in, the tomatoes are doing OK, the potatoes are doing very well, and the onions loook to be doing well.
I think we have a source for good beef and need to check that out. Ill also have to figure out what to do for the pressure canning. We need to put in propane. The electric stove that came with the house is a glass cooktop and I hate it.
