The taliban are the de facto rulers of Afghanistan . they have the people’s support while the coalition forces are seen as occupiers who they must resist.
The Taliban has an ideological of a strict interpretation and enforcement of Shariah law with jihad as a “divine obligation”.....so how does that bode with the current Kabul Government?
