Junk news.
Thousands of reports come in daily and all that stuff needs vetted. Much of it is junk because the sources often have an agenda (eliminating someone they don’t like, manipulating us, make money and tell us tall tales so we keep paying them). I saw this in Iraq many-many times. It was actually quite amusing at times. The Iraqi’s learned quickly to to tell us that someone was with AQ. LOL
Of course the news grabs this and runs with it.
I am sure if I find a source that tells me about the Satanic/Occult connection with the Nazi’s the History channel will run with that too. LOL
In this case, because it’s election year and the Russians are the bad guys again, this makes front page news when in reality it should fall off altogether as unsubstantiated or factually questionable.
