From the article-
“At this point, it is not known who attacked first responders and what their motive was. Friends and family of the crash victim, who has yet to be identified by police but was referred to by family as C.J., didnt provide any additional information about the incident other than to say that some family members on the scene were extremely upset in the immediate aftermath of the crash.”
Good GRIEF!
So you are so upset that you beat the hell out of the person who is trying to save the life of your loved one?
Freaking idiots!
Sort of similar story-
At least 20 years ago, there was a popular swimming hole in Georgia. One holiday there was a big family there (Democrats, I assume), and they were drinking and partying and NOT supervising their kids AT ALL! I don’t believe any of the kids or adults even knew how to swim.
Well, one of the kids drowned. A friend who was an EMT just happened to be there with her kids. She and some others tried save the child with CPR and were treated very similarly as the first responders in this story, especially after they were unsuccessful at reviving the child. They were treated as if it was THEIR fault the drowning happened and there were threats made. Police had to intervene.
Just crazy!
Poorly written. At first I thought the trouble makers were strangers with the following information, an unruly crowd gathered and rapidly grew in size and out of control, surrounding the scene ,.
Then, there was the following information, “At this point, it is not known who attacked first responders and what their motive was. Friends and family of the crash victim, who has yet to be identified by police but was referred to by family as C.J., didnt provide any additional information about the incident other than to say that some family members on the scene were extremely upset in the immediate aftermath of the crash.”
What likely was intended to be reported is that the family was upset by what the strangers were doing. And, that the police have not been able to collect the names of the strangers who were causing the trouble.
Poor kid.
After a while, I bet the family didn’t really care too much for the deceased.
