ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) Ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, an emergency ordinance requiring people wear face masks in certain circumstances failed to pass the Anderson City Council.
Council members instead approved a resolution asking, but not requiring, people to wear face coverings, social distance and wash hands.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control said a lack of mask-wearing has been adding to the increase of cases statewide.
With the holiday weekend approaching, state health officials have been urging everyone to celebrate at home.
I’ll take moment of sanity for $100 Alex.
Screw masks masks are stupid
I just tie a bandanna around my neck when I go into the stores here so they let me in the stupid store
Our neighborhood NextDoor site is overloaded with all the Karens complaining that they would not make masks mandatory.
Sounds like my nextdoor.com as well.
The site and domain should be renamed karen.com. Between this and people setting off their own fireworks...on New Years and July 4th, ffs! The threads are mostly just bitching about first world problems.
