Hong Kong has been a massive back door, for the communist dictatorship on the mainland, to have free access to Western technology, preferential trade treatment, and hard currency financing.

IMO we should never have been exporting sensitive equipment to Hong Kong in the first place.

The ChiComs have been in control there since ‘97. Far too easy for an item to just.....ummm......disappear and find it’s way over the border.

Hong Kong does not process speciality metal alloys, use world-class supercomputing or advanced semiconductors. Its all going to China.

Can you imagine the nightmare those freedom loving people of Hong Kong feel knowing they are about to be smothered. God have mercy on them.
