Of course we’re talking about the St. Louis couple who brandished firearms at “peaceful protesters” who knocked down a gate and marched through their private property. Plenty of lefties can’t believe that they haven’t been arrested yet for pointing guns at people, but as The Federalist reports, left-wing think tank president Jerry Taylor wouldn’t have waited for the police. In a now-deleted tweet, he says he would have rushed the couple, beaten their brains in, and not apologized either.

His comments sure do a lot to tame the violence. Keep fanning the flames. I guess it’s better to have a society on the violent edge.
Taylor is a product of the CATO Institute. What is it with Libertarians? These people were defending their personal property, which would seem to be something Libertarians would endorse. They didn’t first expect government to defend them and their home.

The homeowners look like scared amateurs. So yeah, rush them. I’ll stand off to the side and watch, from behind cover. Those people were absolutely mentally and physically capable of blowing your head right off.

Like a squirt gun. And she had crazy scared eyes. Rushing her is a good way to get your head blown off. And there’s a weird thing about women. When they are mad or scared, with no training at all, and their eyes closed, they can squeeze off one shot and nail a shot from 75 feet.

My dad and I deer hunted together for many years. When I was young and learning, he told me, “A gaping, sucking chest wound will do wonders.” I imagine that statement holds true for these “mostly peaceful protests”.
In my town cops could be at my door in 5 minutes to diffuse a standoff.
