It was painfully obvious that Braun was doing what the rest of the GOPe does when courage is required: throw a bone to the rabid leftists and foolishly hope that they will be satisfied and will go away. That never works, and only makes things worse by emboldening the barbarians.

Braun couldn’t even conceive of the fact that BLM is anything more than a grass roots protest group that simply wants to stop “police brutality.” The reality that they are instead a highly organized and financed global terrorist group, bent on destroying western civilization and replacing it with Marxism, is simply beyond his mental capacity to comprehend.

The GOP establishment types are worse than useless when America is threatened by hardcore leftist enemies, because their mindset is stuck in some past notion of mundane, gentlemanly political disagreements that can be settled with a little horse trading. They are in complete denial of the life and death, all-out battle between good and evil that we are now engaged in.
