I’m in Michigan, and I recently received, from the Secretary of State’s office, an unsolicited application for absentee ballots for the Primary and General elections this year.
They’re already fabricating ballots in a dark basement somewhere.
Biden has nothing to gain from the debates, true. But Trump has just as much to lose. Last week he got a total soft-ball question from Sean Hannity - what do you see as your priorities for a second term - and Trump made a complete and total mess of his answer. If he can't come up with a coherent response for Hannity then how is he going to deal with questions from hostile liberal media types where he has sixty seconds to answer?
A debate format is not an environment that Trump does well in. As bad as Biden may do there is no guarantee Trump will come off looking any better, especially after the media gets done spinning it. Leave Biden in his basement and don't do any debates.

I believe Biden is actually gaining support because of the violence, hoping it will stop if we just let the democrats win the white house.

Biden hasn't even had a press conference going on 4 months.
He can't even cope with the pre arranged, questions handed over in advance, well coached softball lovefest questions he gets on his few appearances on CNN MSDNC.
Just s couple if days ago he thought 120 million had died from coronavirus.
1. Trump campaign is asking for four debates NOW, not 6 months ago.
2. Trump has appointed Rudy Giuliani as point man to negotiate terms and conditions with debate commission. That is NOW not 6 months ago.
3. Trump himself is making demands for the debates NOW, not 6 months ago.
No amount of wishful thinking on your part is going to change any of that.
The debates WILL take place, outside of Slow Joe joining his ancestors prematurely. Even then we will drag him back from hell.

I think it highly likely Biden will not be in the nominee, but your average Freeper has a higher chance of being the D nominee than Hillary.
Their methodology caused them to correctly predict the result in 2016, but that doesn’t mean the methodology actually is correct. We would need a large sample size, i.e. a bunch of elections, to conclude that it works. So far we have one election.

Unfortunately you are correct. They predicted a large percentage win for Trump in the popular vote in 2016. They missed that one by a mile.
My opinion: accurately poll Likely Voters in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida, Arizona and maybe a couple of other swing states and you will know in advance who is going to win the election.
The bad Trump polls are there to set an expectation of him losing and less suspicion when they steal it thru mail in fraud ballot harvesting
Maybe Joe should ask Hillary how those massive leads in the polls turned out.
