This explains the odd and multiple horrific occurances visited on America this year.
I now believe that we dodged a bullet in 2012. A Romney presidency would have been far worse than Obama's second term.

We have conservative friends that just recently changed their whole position and attitude towards abortion & Planned Parenthood after all the destruction, the riots, mayhem, etc. started. They now fully support it and hope it increases!
They both agree that it is wrong to do, but as the husband put it: “I’d rather they be legally ripped to shreds in the womb, then to illegally have to fight them in the streets in the future.”
I was quite taken back by his statement as we’ve known this couple for a long time and had become close friends. I will say this: given all the recent events, his statement certainly gave me pause to think about it.
We may not like the decision, but all there goes the entire Democrat plan to energize their base due to the Supreme Court.
I confess wavering on it a few times myself, but I know that won't solve anything.
Which led to a comment that I said a few weeks back.

True, in theory, but not that I’ve seen in reality. It’s basically the difference between what ‘could’ happen and what ‘has happened’, and the second of the two seems to be far stronger for motivating our side and depressing their side. Look at 2010 and 1994 for examples. Our side kept saying that both Obama and Clinton are hard-core leftists (i.e., what could happen), but the middle of the country didn’t believe it, and so they got elected. Two years later, after seeing it first hand (i.e., what has happened), only THEN did they figure it out, at least as far as the midterms were concerned (of course they didn’t carry that anger through the re-election of those two - but that’s another area).
If Trump wins, I’ll just write off Roberts as another Souter, and accept the fact that the best that our side can do at the Supreme Court level is get it right about 75% of the time - which is still far better than the 0% that the Dems give us.

Trump will nominate what he believes to a conservative, and gorsucks will switch.

I look for Thomas, to retire during Trumps second term so that a real conservative can fill his position.
Roberts is on video screwing a chicken {or a dead 10 year old, of any gender} so he is lost.

I think Bush knew from the beginning what Roberts was and they had it figured out to present himself as a conservative to get through the confirmation, then he could enact the deep state agenda. I have absolutely no respect for either Roberts or Bush. That left a long time ago.
