The media can’t get their stories straight. One story said the rioters were passing by but this one said they broke through the gate. Well, which is it mediots?
What I read is that they broke through the gate to the overall community, but just passed by this house. (It was a “gated community”.) I.e. they didn’t break through the gate to this particular house. The community gate said something to the effect of “private road”.

The gate referred to was probably the entrance to the community.
