I had been a loyal Bush man. Voted for H.W., W, and Jebbie for governor.
After reading, hearing and seeing what the family was really about, I am ashamed that I supported them. Sadly, in all cases, the alternate vote was worse, so I cop out with that excuse. Read “Compromised,” it will change your view of Bush, Clinton, the CIA and North.
All mixed up in serious crimes.

WTF is the matter with some of you people? Dick Cheney's fine. He's a very old man with a heart condition, of course he should wear a mask.

Some of you are like trained monkeys who screech every time the media tells you to screech.

” He’s a very old man with a heart condition, of course he should wear a mask.”

Then let him wear one and stop trying to tell us to do it.

This tweet is not from Cheney. As far as I know, he doesn't have a Twitter account, he's too old. It's a retweet of a Liz Cheney tweet by anti-Trump idiots who try to sow discontent all day long.

And "wear a mask" is not anti-Trump, unless you're an idiot. Trump is absolutely fine with people wearing a mask and has stated so many times.

This is not the resistance. This is the Vichy Republicans showing their true colors again. The traitors, the collaborators, the Washington DC Republicans! Loyalty runs one way with these lizards. They can openly oppose any conservative without being questioned, but let a conservative threaten to vote against one of these Vichy Republicans for a betrayal and even here on freerepublic you will he called a purist and accused of supporting the Democrat candidate. To those who still believe in their precious Party that load of BS is done. You and your Party puke purist will get the same loyalty you display.

And “wear a mask” is not anti-Trump,

Right, never mind that it’s the anti-Trump message being pushed by Pelosi and the MSM. Other than that it’s not anything about Trump

Who the hell worries about what ex-politicians say on the internet anyway? You can have a different opinion on masks than Cheney does, without the fear of seeing him express that opinion.

Think for yourself. Cheney's not your boss.

“Think for yourself. Cheney’s not your boss.”

You seem pretty pissed off that we want to ignore the old man. Seems you’re the hypocrite to tell others to ignore yet you don’t ignore. What other liberal traits do you have?

Right, wearing a mask is anti-Trump. How'd you get so smart?

You didn’t advocate ignoring him. I did. You demanded he shut up, which is the opposite of ignoring him.

The Booth Project, if we’re to look at what their goal actually is.

“Dick Cheney says ‘wear a mask’”

At his age with his history of heart problems it would make sense for him to stay at home and wear a mask and expect anyone visiting to do the same.

Yes, ousting Iran’s no 1 enemy was fine, actually great - for Iran

The fact that we whupped Iraq's @$$ is indeed fine for Iran. It demonstrated to them that we could and would whip their @$$ too if they gave us cause to do so.

Much good in the way of national security was accomplished by demonstrating that we would indeed f*** people up if they pissed us off.

And invading a country based on false belief or lies about WMDs was fine

Disagree. Saddam moved his stuff to Syria. There was plenty of evidence at the time to show what was going on, but the lying media liberals kept repeating the lie that there were no WMD there in Iraq, and refused to report the fact that most of this material had been moved into Syria.

Apart from that, the good done by showing American resolve more than makes up for any problems caused supposed intel failures. So even if it was correct that there were no WMD, it was still worth it.

And destroying a country’s social and political infrastructure, and allowing shiite jihadis (who had been kept under foot by Saddam) to run wild and genocide the country’s Christians, was fine

If you would have actually paid attention to what I wrote in the message to which you are responding, you would have noticed I said the war was fine, it was what happened after the war that was a total disaster.

Bush and Bremmer threw away much of the gain we had acquired from winning the war by trying to make too many social changes to Iraq. He should have stayed away from tampering in their domestic politics.

I agree the Sunnis were smarter and less troublesome than the Shias, and we should have left the existing system alone. It was none of our business, and we should have not tried to impose our own foolish doctrines of "equality" on a Muslim Arab culture.

Had we simply left that stuff alone, we wouldn't have had the insurgency. We deliberately created the conditions that made the Sunni members of Iraq want to kill us and drive us out, and the Sunni were by far the most dangerous group in Iraq.

Bremmer and Bush totally f***ed up the aftermath of the war.

Just the opposite with many Freepers. They were loyal lovers of Bush through all his disastrous policies, wouldn’t hear any criticism of him. But now, when he buddies up with Obama , they pivot and suddenly admit that Bush’s open borders, neocon war policies we’re bad.

I have to say that Bush was great on 9/11. He took the war to the middle east and fought radical islam. Trump finished the fight in Mosul, Iraq.
