Yes and they are rich enough to lose things from their looted homes. And they can afford their own police department.

Doubt that’ll happen there. They might hate the cops, but they have to protect what they have. It could happen if/when they get permission from the state to have a city wide private police/security force that is beholden only to them.
They already have them in LAs, business improvement districts.
