George Will needs to look in the mirror.
He himself is the intelligentsia in the article.
These kids wouldn’t have lasted five minutes in 1980.
In 2016 he was sure that Hillary would win. If there had been a competition for the most vitriolic anti-Trump writing just before the 2016 election, he would have won first prize.
You underestimate your fellow Americans.
Finally.
For a while there I thought there were no mirrors in George Will’s residences.
That gave me a good idea. Let’s set up a bunch of statues of George Will and take turns tearing them down. For that matter, let’s go big and tear down some statues of President Big Ears. Over and over and over . . . .
Amen
Did you get the inspiration for this George when you saw yourself in the mirror?
IIRC, Will got suspended/fired for helping prep Candidate Reagan for a debate against then-POTUS Carter.
“””Faculty are outnumbered by administrators, many of whom exist to administer uniformity concerning sustainability, diversity, toxic masculinity and the threat free speech poses to favored groups entitlements to serenity.”””
No George, the faculty are willing co-conspirators.
As he is a bona fide member of the intelligentsia I am waiting for George Will to take on the faculty at our colleges and universities who are overwhelmingly leftist in their thinking.
When George Will starts raising hell and advocates defunding of our state run colleges and universities in order to get rid of leftist professors, then I will jump on his bandwagon.
Reflection is the first part of repentance, hopefully.
George Will is writing about himself, but is too out of touch to realize it.
The current definition of critical thinking is a line of thinking that ends in results matching The Narrative (tm).
Well, at least George’s headline is really really right.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
I started loosing respect for Georgie in 1994 or so when he made some pro NAFTA comment. It was something along the lines of “Well, the USA doesn’t need to make cars.”
It was a stunningly naïve and arrogant comment from a Washington insider who basically spouts hot air for a living.
The last straw was when he came out against Trump. He can go rot for all I care.
Who put starch into Georges shorts?
I think it was Bill Buckley who said he’d rather be governed by the first 500 people in the Boston phone directory than the faculty of Harvard University.
We’ll see.
I told everyone, they don’t have a thinking cap...........
Hell!
Neither is Plain, Ordinary THINKING!!!
