Former Vice President Joe Biden said he’d do everything he could if president to force people to wear masks in public.
“I would go back to making sure that everybody had masks,” Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, told KDKA.
“The one thing we do know is that these masks make a gigantic difference. I would insist that everybody in public be wearing that mask. … I would do everything possible to make it required that people had to wear masks in public,” he added later.
Federal health officials recommend wearing face coverings in places where people can’t maintain six feet of distance from non-household members. Grocery stores and pharmacies are two examples used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

It would be amusing if President Trump jumped in first with an EO saying that the President CANNOT force people to wear masks in public.
According to the Supreme Court, an EO stands forever and can never be overturned by a later president’s EO.
So lets say he wins how long does he think he would be forcing people to wear masks for 1 yr, 2 yrs or forever?
No arm bands signifying party affiliation or special arm band if you are a deplorable?
It’ll be a locking mask, removable only by the “authorities.”

No such Constitutional authority exists and there’s no science to support it.

Preventing people doing what they want to do has always been rather well tolerated for some reason...
Forcing people to do what they do not want to do, is how rebellions get started. Only because, even the non-political can refuse to comply.

Re-Education Camps coming
People are within their rights to set private regulations for the use of their business though. “No shoes, no shirt, no service” comes to mind. Same with speed limits they set in their parking lots.
I anybody thinks the government can/should enforce prophylactic measures such as masks in public, why can’t they force you to wash your hands or even to wear a condom to protect you from AIDS? The best policy a liberty based government should be doing is advising Americans on best practices. It is up to each of us to exercise the appropriate level of protection we deem appropriate.
When has that ever stopped a Democrat?
