Your post assumes that Bush and his brand of Republicans would have wanted to end mass immigration from the Third World. You know as well as I do that he and his ilk are perfectly happy that there are more Joses and Marias being born in the US today than Joes and Marys - they provide cheap labor for his constituents, and as for the social damage their culture of poverty and crime causes, heck, only the little people have to deal with the consequences of that, not the important elites that count. They just reap the rewards.
Good point. The Bushes seem quite happy with erasing the borders, culture and language of the USA. To them and their paymasters, Americans are just units of labor interchangeable with any other person on the planet, and frankly undesirable when they cost too much.
