We're having a thunderstorm right now, which sounds to be moving off. We did yard work today so the rain is welcomed.

Restaurants here are opening for dine in, but only 50% capacity so far. Hubby and I are getting back into the swing. It's kind of nice being in a quiet restaurant.

Smokey was there tonight and spent the whole day sleeping in the back yard, mostly on the patio. Trying to find cool spots. I told her how pretty her grey/green eyes were. :)

No, the dust cloud hasn’t reached us yet. As of the 6:00 news, the leading edge was just hitting the gulf coast - FL over to LA. It’s supposed to get here sometime late tomorrow. Worked out well as I was able to make a Wal Mart run without choking this afternoon.
Their computer model shows it spreading out and giving you a good dose as well. What they don’t ever mention is the second cloud following on it’s heels. Maybe that one won’t make it over here.
So glad to hear Smokey stayed put today. Maybe she’s figured out there’s no better place in the neighborhood.

She certainly needs to gain some weight before winter gets here. She has no padding to keep her warm and her fur is in sad shape from bad nutrition.

She was out there just now. I went out to sweep more nasty pine needles off the patio and petted her and some of the others that wandered up. Peaches started to get snippy, but I told him she was ok, so he backed off. For now. LOL!
You should have taken a little food out to her to see if she’d eat a little. Cats are nibblers by nature and she’s gone without regular meals for so long, her tummy’s probably the size of a pea.

But, the sad thing is, if I want to buy groceries or shop elsewhere, my governor says I have to wear a mask and the business has to turn me away if I don't....GRRR!
