Reports supposedly on BBC as well
Well, it was reported here about an hour ago,
but it wasn’t “live” then...
This will get those crazy bastards hysterical.
Video up on twitter #Tehran
What could cause that red continuous glow after the explosion? Some speculation it’s a ‘major incident.’
What could cause that red continuous glow after the explosion? Fire.
Thanks. Didn’t see that one.
Curious how the early source on that thread was the Jerusalem Post. They must have reporters who can bridge the space/time continuum or ...?
Yes, but it looks so even.. no flareups.. just a smooth glow.. Seems everything there would be consumed? It’s hard to tell the size of the area from the video, but it appears large.
Iranian lives splatter???
I’m voting Israeli strike. We’re too preoccupied at the moment.
Metallic taste in the air.
Not good- possibly nuclear.
Work-related violence? That's Obama's favorite reason.
The event in Tehran was described as a loud explosion, followed by a bright light that was as light as day, according to MidEast blogger NZIV. According to the blogger Abu Ali Express, Iranian officials have admitted there was an explosion. A senior official in the Iranian emergency services claimed that ambulances have not yet been called. Sources reported a power outage in the city of Shiraz as well, approximately an hour before the explosion near Tehran, leaving 1.2 million households without electricity. Speculation is that was due to an explosion at a Shiraz power plant.
Flash precedes sound (~1100 feet per second travel time). So the cameras which recorded the event were already trained on the location and running, NOT in reaction to an explosive sound
Where'd you read that?
I’m retired nuclear physicist. Trust me, if you can SMELL the products of a nuclear blast, evacuation efforts may be a bit futile. Your time would be better spent updating your will.
Defense Ministry supposedly reporting it was a gas explosion.. no causalities..
