Polls prior to Labor Day are really meaningless but with early voting in a lot of states if Donald doesn’t start getting some of these polls to within 5 points or so by the end of the summer we are looking at President Biden God help us all

Indeed. We have a ways to go and things can change, but you are correct. Clicking our heels and chanting “fake news” will not alter reality. Even reliably conservative sources are publishing polls that have Trump behind by wide margins. Time to start putting up some adds that show the recent chaos and lawlessness and link that to the Dems. Yes, we are four months from the election. But at some point polls will start to matter. And we are not where we should be right now.
Liberals HAVE to fabricate those poll numbers... so when they get caught cheating on election day, they can point to the BS polls.

How does this reconcile with a recent Rasmussen poll that showed Trump’s job approval at 49%?
These are early push-pull polls - and likely skewed with Dim and Independent bias - meant to be promoted to sway others more than to register convinced sentiment.
How heavy did they oversample Dems.
Anyone that thinks Biden can match Hillary’s turnout is easily fooled.
No poll really matters until:
1) Biden names his radical VP who will most likely take over for him before his first term is over.
2) the one taken after the last debate.
At this time in 1984 there were polls that showed Mondale beating Reagan.
2020 will see Trump winning in the same manner as Reagan.

Really do feel these polls are flawed since decent people will not take unsolicited calls and discuss their political opinions with strangers. However if it is an honest vote and after an informative campaign during which the socialist policies of the democrats are exposed and after three debates, the American people elect the demented leftist Biden and the communists that control him, then indeed the majority will get what they deserve.
Bad polls didn’t discourage Trump voters in 2016.
