When Republicans controlled bot houses of Congress, did a Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell defund Planned Parenthood?
What has the GOP done to stop tax money for Planned Parenthood?
Finally, the W.H.O. gets some common sense.
Don’t get too far ahead on any drug, this one included. Dexamethasone is a steroid and has some baggage with it. According to the Pfizer MSDS:
“Clinical use may cause an increase in blood pressure (hypertension). Clinical use has resulted in changes in electrolytes and/or blood chemistry changes. Drugs of this class may cause Cushing’s syndrome, manifested by moon face, obesity, headache, acne, thirst, increased urination, impotence, menstrual irregularities, facial hair growth, and mental changes. It also may cause harm to the unborn child.”
This article references the treatment of critically ill patients, not those that just have or have been exposed to the virus. In other words, it is being tested as a “Hail Mary” and not an illness prevention or cure under normal conditions. Your doctor will probably not give it to you, and shouldn’t unless you are on your last legs if it gets approved CONUS. At this point, it isn’t intended for that.

Last I read it shortened the symptoms from 14 days to 11 days vs complete cure with HCQ and ZINC within hours. Not a doctor.
IMHO. ;-)
...and it could cause harm, Ghebreyesus said.
Why does every off label use of a Corona fighting drug come with dire warnings of harm? Most of these drugs are well proven to have minimal side affects. Using them for Corona does not magically make them less safe.
I bet if aspirin was proven to help fight Corona we would be treated to a lecturer on all the harm that aspirin can cause if not used per its label.
Finally a proposed treatment with a drug that has no known side effects.
SARCASM.
The WHO approves, stick it
