He can’t get ANYONE to run with him, despite the clear signal that that person would be president six months from inauguration.

Because EVERYONE on their side knows these polls are pig excrement and Demented Perv Biteme is the Delaware Hindenburg. And no one wants to end their career by going down with him.
Remember William Miller? Edmond Muskie? Hell, even Geraldine Ferraro? Their careers were virtually finished because they lost in a landslide as veep candidates. You could pretty much say the same for Sarah Palin.
The thing I wonder is if Biden was chosen specifically to lose? We all saw the 'rats coalesce around Biden when they told Booty-gig, Warren, et al to drop out. We were led to believe it was because the 'rats were worried that Bernie was too socialist to run as a candidate. However, the pandering Biden has embraced every leftist crackpot idea that Bernie had.
I am starting to think they knew this year was a loss and did not want to waste any of their future "stars" on this campaign.
