She and Harris are perfect choices for the GOP. They bring nothing to the ticket. Cali will go for Biden anyway. If Abhrams could bring GA, they would have already picked her. They need the VP pick to do what Biden is not doing and travel across the country building support. If they had someone who could do that they would have already announced. Susan Rice brings nothing, Biden already has political gravitas. Biden does not need Rice's Dem pedigree only her status as the black face of the campaign. But Rice brings nothing to the campaign. They are left searching, had Witmer not F’up in MI she would have been the perfect pick to carry MI for the ticket. I think the issue for them is finding a women who brings a state with her. None of the crop of former Dem women Presidential candidates rises to that level, all come from safe Dem States. The most dangerous VP pic would be (from my perspective) Tulsi Gabbard. She is likeable, nice looking and articulate. But she is not radical enough nor a woman of color. Biden has boxed himself in. There are Governors that could bring a battle ground State with them but they are men. Worse yet, they are white men.
