It was as much, if not more, about the cross.

I have generally thought of a ‘militia’ as an idea that
wasn’t a particularly good idea. Now I’m convinced that
the local, state, and federal governments are hell bent
on selling out our nation.
So I’m not so much against the idea any longer.
Maybe it’s time to have squadrons of militia out there
protecting our people, infrastructure, and civilization.
Push back baby. I’m sick of this wanton treason.

WTH? Grant didn’t kill enough Confederates to make up for “other deficiencies”?

spurring a national debate over the complex legacies of those historical figures
Complex legacy? US Grant? These ignoramuses are apparently unaware that Grant was the general who defeated the Confederacy and fought for the rights of the freed slaves as president.

This has nothing to do with the history regarding the various statues. It is just a tearing down of all of them -- eventually.
All statues bad!
Isn't that from Animal Farm?

When are loyal American patriots going to rise up and retake our country?

The article didn’t say antifa did this, but that protestants did it.
Not a very Christian thing to do.
Jesus said to love everyone just as he loves everyone.
