That’s the only thing that makes sense.
The hyper anti-Spaniard angle to Californias angle is new. What next rename all our states major cities?!
And you hear NONE of this kinda thing happen in Latin America btw. You will never meet a Colombian who wants to rename their country (named for Columbus) or a Peruvian who wants to give the Spanish language and Catholic religion back to Spain.
When are loyal American patriots going to rise up and retake our country?
Was he white? That's enough. It aint about what people did, it's about what they looked like.
I was discussing that with my wife last night. They'll probably push to rename all the cities because they're named after saints. San Francisco, San Jose, San Ramon, San Anselmo, San Diego, etc. Los Angeles will get a pass, but should be renamed to Devil City. I'm really pissed about them pulling down the Father Junipero Serra statue in GG Park, that's been a favorite of mine for many decades (I sat under it watching the Grateful Dead play in the mid-1960's, ten feet away and got all their autographs).
All these anarchists need to be shot and killed, soon!
The article didn’t say antifa did this, but that protestants did it.
Not a very Christian thing to do.
Jesus said to love everyone just as he loves everyone.
Why was it scathing?
Father Serra was very loving.
They received mistaken information.
My understanding of Fr. Junipero Serra is that he converted the Native Americans to Christianity; served as an intercessory for them against the local governments; built the missions with the labor of the new converts, etc. This idea that he used them as slaves is false, a new notion invented by leftist university professors who hate Christianity and European culture.
Native tribes in the Southwestern states still revere the memory of Fr. Junipero Serra and Fr. Kino [in Arizona].
Thanks...
This one's been left alone so far because nobody can figure out WTF it is
They are pushing
