Who would believe that you’d be safer in Beirut?
One of my wife’s younger female relatives and her husband served in the peace corp. For about a decade they have worked for a non profit in charge of peace corp type work.
When the peace corp people were recalled, her niece and husband got an offer to fly their family back home and help them resettle.
They owned a home in Chicago and could have moved back there.
One of her first cousins, like a brother, told her that she and her family would probably be safer in Africa. So they stayed in Africa. About every weekend the advice of their cousin to stay in Africa seems better.
