I forget where I read it, but a long time ago:
The communists destroy the religion and the history of a country for a specific reason and that is that people by nature must belong to and believe in something.
When family, religion and loyalty to country and its history are gone, paintings, pictures, statutes and propaganda in praise of the new leaders takes the place. So the worship of family, religion, etc., is replaced by and transferred to the communist regime.
That is exactly what we are seeing today.
I don’t either, but if you mean candidates will, how come they don’t have chanced to get elected. Dog catcher doesn’t count.
We ...westerners won’t defend it until there’s no one to defend it for us.
Freedom happens when there’s nothing left to lose. Freedom happens when one is willing to die for it...and I don’t see many of that type around these days.
The hard truth is...liberty has left the planet. The world is devolving and there’s no stopping it. It’s over. All they are pushing for now is for us to start shooting and if more police continue to leave the force...we’ll be in a hot war before October and many conservatives will still be thinking the ballot box will save them.
America is going to have to go through this and it is high time we realize it.
Trump wins in November ...there will be a bloody revolution. Trump loses...liberty is snuffed out with a whisper.

Our confidence in our form of government borders on hubris; we insist that there are political solutions for moral problems. (There aren't.)
Apparently our government is not. They could start by ignoring unconstitutional federal court rulings.

Is there any wonder that the enemies of freedom, the so-called "progressives," do not promote such authentic histories of America? Their philosophy puts something called "the state," or "global interests" as being superior to individuals and requires a political elitist group to decide what role individuals are to play.
In other words, they must turn the Founders' ideas upside-down in order to achieve a common mediocrity for individuals and power for themselves.
Thomas Jefferson wrote to Roger Weightman on June 24, 1826:

There are those who call themselves "progressives," when, in fact, their ideas are regressive and enslaving, and as old as the history of civilization.
