I’m old enoubh to be a veteran of a long forgotten shooting war; and I remember this:
The Nazzi SS did this to Jews in Poland and Russsia. They’d lock what they called Untermensch, or subhumans into their synagogues and set them afire. At the ending of the war that preceeded mine the SS Gross Duetchland, (Great Germany) Division shot American Prisoners of War at the Belgium village of Malmedy. After that Patton’s Third Army took no SS prisoners. Some Army guys I knew back in the day said the Americans shot the SS in the balls before they killed them.
Like a man said, History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
Where will Americans soon be shooting Antifia who will be trying to surrender before too many more sunsets.

History isn’t going to be pretty. But it’s going to be written...in blood.
Check your facts before you speak. The Gross Deutschland Division was a Wehrmacht, not an SS unit. Also, throughout the war it was continuously stationed on the Eastern Front, not the Western. You undermine your veracity rather seriously when you blather such things. If you want to condemn the 1st SS Panzer Division for the Malmedy Massacre, go ahead. They deserve every condemnation heaped on them, ... and the GD Division has much to answer for on the Eastern Front, even though they were not SS.
There was also an infamous incident where German troops in France herded villagers into their church, blocked the doors, and burned the church down.
