Universal mask wearing reduces transmission by something like 80%.
We were always told to “flatten the curve,” not eliminate it.
I want everyone to get COVID until we have the herd immunity we all agreed to get to.

Plenty of people wear masks here in California, even while driving.
Most people are moving away from wearing masks unless forced to, basically to get into a store to shop more than any other reason.
I am of the opinion they are a placebo. I only wear one when trying to shop for something, and the moment I step foot out of the store the mask comes off.
Considering the size of the virus and the droplets they ride in, the masks are generally useless %99 of the time.
In other words, if you believe the masks are helping keeping numbers low, you’re not paying attention to the science that shows that they are generally useless for stopping the spread of the virus.
When do we stop wearing them? What criteria must be met to stop wearing them? What virus will follow that mandates we must wear masks again when told to?

This essentially make that six foot distancing more like
20-30 feet.

are you saying that normal exhalations from your nostrils travels 20-30 feet...? yes, talking loud, shouting, coughing and sneezing will do that (possibly), but just breathing will not...
you will not infect anyone simply by walking past them; that is the big lie that needs to be exploded...
If your mask was truly airtight catching a virus would be the least of your problems
The ones wearing masks did so to hide their faces, not because of COVID-19.

If they were serious about the virus they would have blocked the protests like they were Easter Sunrise Services, and put down the riots in a heartbeat.
