Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Wednesday she will extend the state’s coronavirus state of emergency, which was set to expire Friday.

Whitmer said during a press conference that Michigan “will remain in some form of a state of emergency order.”

“All 50 states are in some form of state of emergency and we will have to be as well,” Whitmer added.

““All 50 states are in some form of state of emergency and we will have to be as well,” Whitmer added.” Why?

Follow the Money. As long as they have states of emergency the Federal gravy train keeps on a rollin'.

How does this not backfire on the dems? Do people like being treated like cattle with no rights?

I thought PA’s state legislature just killed theirs...

They did. But Gov. Wolf threw a hissy fit and is taking it to the State Supreme Court. So now the House is moving to impeach him. They don't have the votes for that but it's getting fun to watch.

They just might get the votes, BTW. I’m hearing a lot of rumors about more companies pulling out of PA.

She’s simply reiterating “I am the boss” to those who oppose her.

It’s a state’s rights issue.

What do you want Pres Trump to do?

Where are the fine folks of Michigan revolting and flat out ignoring this absurd tyranny?

They could all meet up, in their town squares/downtown areas and call it ‘peaceful protests’, while they actually PAY for the items they take out of the stores.

The wild card in all of this is just how many Democrats are feeling enough constituent heat to vote to remove him? A few did flip and vote to end the state of emergency.

We were the ones to have the first anti-lockdown protest.

We also have a recall petition ready to go starting July 1st for her.

Which is why the lockdown has been extended. There is no way that she is going to let people get close enough together to sign a petition.

I live in PA. Our governor has us locked down. Small businesses are closing after three months of bills but no income. I spend every single day I can in Ohio, sending my money. Michiganders are the same way. Those that can drive to Ohio or Wisconsin. These democrat governors want nothing more than to ruin businesses. You get exactly what you vote for.

One restaurant just hung up a portrait of Governor Wolf and named him “Employee of the year.” They are having to close every night because he sets new daily sales records.

And can you go to your rural hunting camp?

Remember that restriction? You’d think you’d want to encourage people to self-isolate in the back country. But nooooo....

Looters and rioters are exempt from the order:

The stay home order was rescinded. And there’s the fact that nobody listens to her anymore.

Businesses may have to follow orders. But the people are fed up and out & about.

Good deal!!

Keep up the good work.

What’s left, on the recall process?

What’s your take, on the percentage of the state, on those that oppose/are sick and tired of this witch?

Hopefully, well over half.

Michigan reminds me a lot of NYS. We have a rubber stamp legislature, too.

From what I read we have a month to collect a fair number of signatures. It will take a bit of effort to do so.

While the Karens keep fawning over her, people are moving on hard away from this whole thing into our all too brief summer. Messing around with that to us is a dangerous move, And folks want to go back to normal life/work. So I’m fairly confident in an election year that this may just line up right.
