Yeah. Let him lead off the National Anthem for each game. There won’t be an NFL next year, one of those woke/broke things.

I believe that they should also. Each NFL fan should be mandated to contribute a thousand dollars a week to his salary. Game tickets and all NFL accouterments would include the contribution in the price. Plus a tax free 100 million dollar mansion complete with staff in all 50 States should be given to him. In addition to unlimited expense accounts. Along with each day of the week that ends in “y” should be declared a National Holiday in his honor. As a further indication of the adoration and esteem that he is held in by the NFL and its fans, the first 12 months of the year should be named “Colin Kaepernick” month. It is the least that an adoring and grateful Nation can do to honor its hero.

They can put him on phones. Jam him into 3 wall cubicles with a strictly Indian coworking population.

Sports used to be the last true meritocracy.

The military, too, until the Obama years when top promotions became dependent more upon political reliability than on ability.

So fire Goodell as Commissioner and replace him with Kapernick. That would actually improve the NFL.

The NFL is ruthless. They do not have guaranteed contracts. All that matters is if a player can produce at the right price. Krap demanded too much money and the market decided he wasn’t worth it.
