There used to be pictures online showing he was just being lazy sitting on his butt or kneeling long before his muzzy gf thought up an excuse for him.

All we need to do is look at the air disaster that killed multiple people earlier this year. Because of Kobe Bryant’s fame, he was instantly memorialized. And to add to the story, his child was killed. We are all sickened to hear that and should be. As Christians we have devout faith. There were Americans who shed a tear over the basketball player’s death. No one cared about his race. We should all feel thankful and remember that when around our loved ones. Cherish every moment. But tell me this: how many people can name the white family killed? How many tributes did black celebs make for Bryant? Compare that to their tributes to the other families; what are they, “non-essential”?

> Then, make sure all of his passes are completions, and he’s never sacked. <

That’s a wonderful idea. It would show that the NFL has “evolved”. And your suggestion would be easy to implement. Make it a 15 yard penalty if any defender comes within six feet of Hero Kaepernick.

And make it a 15 yard penalty if any defender comes within six feet of one of his receivers. Those penalties must be additive! So if a team comes within six feet of Hero Kaepernick and one of his receivers, that’s a 30 yard penalty.

I really should be on the NFL rules committee.

What’s this “GIVE HIM a job” stuff? Whatever happened to QUALIFYING FOR a job? What happens when we start GIVING jobs to everybody whether they’re capable of doing them or not? And on THAT subject, Kaepernick LOST his previous job when he failed to do it well enough. How has he improved his skills in the meantime? And his attitude?

BOYCOTT THE NFL

Not that I don't expect it, but I'll wait until there is one America-hating, anti-Veteran kneeling before I start my total and complete and forever boycott of the once-great NFL.

I left the league for a few years when the America-hating Kaepernick first started his dissing of our Flag, and I cautiously returned. I doubt that I'll see another kickoff.

But if/when the kneeling starts, a significant boycott needs to include every single sponsor and every thread of merch.

(I'm thinking that Veteran's caps that have FUNFL! embroidered on them could become popular.)

It’s not enough to editorialize about Colin Kaepernick. The LA Times needs to give him a job.

So, he’s not a journalist? Sounds like the LA Times is systemically racist.

So, he would be incompetent working for a newspaper? He’s incompetent as a quarterback, but you didn’t think that was a good enough reason, so you are being hypocritical. And racist.

Never apologize. To the Left, it is chum in the water. An admission of guilt and justification for punishment. They should have just said no. Kapernic is a mediocre player at best, and after the kneeling BS, we don’t want him around. How hard would that have been?

Who could disagree? He’d be perfect for the position of Commissioner.

I would not be surprised that this fella who plays ball will have a statue in front of an NFL stadium, the Hall of Fame or some other location. What a gimmick it would be to take down Columbus, a confederate official, even Lincoln and replace him with this quarterback.

No, we’re still right about the semi-talented jock that wore the socks that depict cops as pigs. The guy also likes him some Che and Fidel.

‘Anyhow it doesn’t matter no one is going to watch the NFL this year.’

can’t imagine what makes you think that; if there is a season, millions of people will lap it up like a cat with a bowl of milk...

A quarterback? He should be the ONLY quarterback. He can switch his jersey after each change of possession, and can fly to other cities after each game is over.

Never a great player and he has been out of the league to long. In his last season it almost looked like he was throwing the games he was so bad and then he was benched. I don’t understand why he should have a job in the NFL. Of course it is symbolic.

No one ever gave me a job. I earned or created every job I ever held. But they’re right. The only way divisive 2-14 loser Colin K can get a job is to be given one.
