Seeing him I would being to feel pity for him (part of my old pre- Civil War II self coming back, but then I would know he could decide to slash people throats with a razor, put a bomb under their car engine, or burn down a row of apartments with people trapped inside. Arson story: Not everyone had evacuated every exciting fire video they show on TV news. When a building at the university where I worked was burning down, a college student knew that one man might be inside. He ran into the fire and rescued him.
It was a black, old custodian he had been friends with before and he knew the man slept on the job in a little room he had made up with a mattress. He was totally deaf. The student made his through the smoke and frantically told him to come along to escape. He looked around, mystified but did so and his life was saved.
