One of the largest churches in Boise, Idaho, apologized for participating in "white supremacy" and announced it is removing the likeness of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from a stained-glass window.
In a statement, the pastors and staff at the Cathedral of the Rockies began by "acknowledging our own sin with a stained glass window," which also features presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
"The recent deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor brought long-overdue urgency to our discernment process," the church board wrote in a statement to members. "We are reminded of our privilege. We have waited too long."

It’s a Methodist church, which explains the craven groveling. Why they had a Robert E. Lee image to start with is what puzzles me.
It is not imperative that we stand up against this.
It is just a matter of life and death to our country.
Of course, they can put whatever they want there.
But, how about putting in a Biblical figure instead?

My guess: When the windows were purchased for the church a patriotic donor bought the window and had design rights.
“They” ( we know who “they” are ) want to remove any signs or history that at any time people dared to stand up against the current status quo of federal dominance over the states. To think the state are the equal of the federal is dangers to globalists.

I’m not up there yet, but I, too, was privileged to see America when it was patriotic and law abiding. I am glad I am retired and don’t have to deal with political correctness in the workplace. Maybe I will get lucky and see a resurgence of love of country and the rule of law.

You’re a little older than us but Hub and I have talked about this insanity but we’ll always remember the America we knew and grew up with and raised our kids in. I still have faith that fervently praying for Gods mercy can turn this country back to some kind of sense and I consider that to be defeating the Demonrat party all across America. This has evolved to good vs evil, imho!
This is not a Christian Church. This is a feel-good pagan PC cult.
